YOUTH LEADERSHIP SERIES
VIRTUAL SUMMER 2020
ABOUT
What is yls?
SPI has moved online for the summer, and we have created the SPI Youth Leadership Series! This is a 4-week free program aimed to build confidence & leadership skills within elementary students!

hOW WILL THIS BE DONE?
PROGRAM DETAILS
Within YLS, elementary students will be mentored by high school students from Atlanta, GA and Virginia, through weekly live webinars, and content filled lesson plans throughout the week. Some of the topics we discuss include, and are not limited to are - the importance of visualization, supportive people, using time wisely, and building self-confidence!

The Schedule layout
On every Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday of the program, lessons from our High School SPI Summer Members will be posted on our website and google classroom. The weekly live webinars will take place every Friday afternoon (with the exception of the first webinar) and will serve the purpose of being check-ins with the students to reflect on the week's lessons. The program kickoff date and orientation will be on Monday, July 20th @2pm EST!

For High School students too!

The YLS is also open to all high school students to become members! When completing the program, high schoolers will earn volunteer hours, the opportunity to start a SPI chapter at their high school, the opportunity to be published in the SPI YLS book series, and be able to train young leaders!

Register by Sunday, July 19th!
